Originally commissioned by King Louis XV to mirror the smile of the Marquise de Pompadour, this elongated shape has the largest face-up area of any diamond cut. Its dramatic points create a bold, regal presence on the finger. Every marquise diamond in our inventory is individually certified by GIA, IGI, or HRD and can be set in any of our engagement rings, pendants, earrings, or bracelets.

Carat weight depends on your budget and the setting style. A well-cut diamond can appear larger than its carat weight suggests. Use the carat slider in the filter panel above to set your preferred range. For engagement rings, 0.50–1.50 carats is the most popular range. Diamond color is graded on a scale from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow). D–F diamonds are colorless and command a premium. G–H are near-colorless and offer excellent value — most people cannot distinguish them from colorless stones once set. I–J show a faint warmth that can complement yellow gold settings beautifully.
