  Prestige Diamond Quality SI clarity,

Clarity is the rarity factor that indicates the degree to which a diamond is free from internal inclusions and external blemishes, called "clarity characteristics". A diamond is given a clarity grade based on the number, nature, size, location and color of the clarity characteristics. Generally speaking, the more inclusions a diamond has, the less transparent it is, and the lower the price. Only very rare diamonds are completely free from inclusions and blemishes all together. These diamonds are called "flawless".

To determine a diamond's clarity grade, it is viewed under 10-power magnification by a trained diamond grader. Diamonds can range in clarity grades from flawless to included. Diamonds may attain the following clarity grades:

Internally Flawless
(F)
Very Very Slighted Included
(VVS1-VVS2)
Very Slightly Included
(VS1-VS2)

  Our Diamond Qualities

A difference between clarity grades is almost impossible to determine with your unaided eye. A microscope or loupe will show you exactly what is inside your diamond.

Inclusions in each diamond are unique and represent individual characteristics that help distinguish each diamond from another. At USA Jewels our diamond buyers are trained to purchase diamonds whose flaws if any are hidden when set in jewelry. This way, our Popular and Regular diamond quality just looks better than other diamond manufactures comparable products. This is one of the things that seperates USA Jewels from the the rest. Our diamond buyers directly influence our diamond manufacturing. We do this to keep tight control over our diamond qualities.
